ĦĦĦĦThe Deutz Group is a global leader in engine manufacturing. It produced the first internal combustion engine and maintains today the largest diesel engine manufacturer in the world.
Today, the Deutz FAW Dalian Diesel Project was officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. After the establishment of the joint venture, its products will enter the international marketing platform of Volvo Engine Products, of which the Deutz Group holds equity.
The joint venture was registered late June in Dalian Development Area, with a total investment of 3 billion Yuan and a registered capital of 1.2 billion Yuan. The project is expecting an annual production of 200000 diesel engines, representing a value of 5 billion Yuan. ĦĦĦĦThe FAW Group holds a good relationship with DDA. Among the 6 enterprises invested by the group in Dalian, 4 were located in DDA. This new joint venture and the FAW VW Engine Project will both promote the development of auto components manufacturing in DDA and further contribute to the industry structure.
